I pity the fool

They say the Lord works in mysterious ways. But it’s alright, it’s alright, it’s alright cause Mr T walks among us. He’s got the direct line to the big guy.

Update:

Saint Mr. T.

Overheard

A woman at Ralph’s talking into a cellphone:

“She’s addicted to spending her husband’s money.  Oh, shut up!  I deserve to spend my dumbass husband’s money!”

What’s really happened at Heathrow Terminal 5

Here’s the real reason T5 has been so messed up.

Still Still Alive

In my ongoing quest to find the best cover versions of Jonathan Coulton’s song from Portal, “Still Alive”, I’ve turned up these five additional videos:

1. Hipster chick on guitar. (She can also RickRoll you.)

2. RIT Surround Sound student a cappella group. (Also, their version of Star Wars.)
3. On piano.

4. Two guitars and a sweet rhythm section.

5. A band called missFlag. Keep an eye on the video if you expect to get any cake. (Bonus rehearsal session.)

Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi. You’re our only hope.

Man, how cool is this?  http://tinyurl.com/3ymftp

I’m wanting one.  Lots.  Not that I can afford it but I want one.

But maybe one of these I can afford. http://tinyurl.com/26d4y5

Who’s heard from Sue?

You may or may not remember her.  Emaciated, (former) heavy smoker, worshipper of Bob, devourer of the Diet Coke.  She’s from the swamplands…

Have y’all heard from her yet?

The Last Supper

BSG Last SupperTo celebrate Easter, here’s a Battlestar Galactica image. Now the one right here is mighty small, but here’s a link to a full size, hi-res version. And I mean that sucker is really, really big. It’s like 4 megabytes big, which, for a .jpg file, is huge. If you don’t want that monster, there’s always this Flickr page. Series producer, Ron Moore (writer of most of the Klingon-themed episodes of TNG and DS9), has said that this picture holds clues to the 4th and final season of BSG, but at least one member of the cast said that the picture was overseen by Sci-Fi Channel marketing people and Mr. Moore wasn’t around for it, so there’s really no deep meaning to it at all. I’m not convinced that the DaVinci Code isn’t applicable.
